A Copper Underwing agg, attracted to light last night. This individual represents the best chance, without resorting to dissection, of a Svensson’s Copper Underwing (Amphipyra berera svenssoni) to date at the site.

Labial palps, dark with pale tips.

Compare with presumed A.pyramidea below from The Downs.

No pale yellow, or contrast to the underside of hindwing, terminal area.
